Eilat is located in the very south of Israel, on the shore of the Red Sea.

Eilat received the status of the city in 1953.

The majority of the city's population is engaged in tourism.

In Eilat there is a seaport and a local airport. Near the city is international airport Ovda.

In Eilat there is a branch of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.

Eilat is a resort town, a major tourist center.

The water temperature on the beaches of Eilat never falls below 22 degrees Celsius.

The city in the place where modern Eilat is located, existed even in the time of King Solomon. Next to him are King Solomon's mines.

In Eilat are luxurious hotels. It has numerous tourist attractions. You have to see the Panoramic Aquarium in Eilat Maritime Museum.

In the Eilat water area there are beautiful coral reefs.
